These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Black Box Lite (the "Service"), an investigation workspace provided by Geogentia ("Geogentia", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
The Service is built for authorized security and OSINT investigations. You may use it only for lawful purposes and only where you have the necessary authority, consent, or legal basis (for example an engagement letter, client consent, lawful-process authority, or a documented security-testing authorization). You are solely responsible for ensuring your collection and use of information is authorized, scoped, and compliant with all applicable laws, including privacy, computer-misuse, surveillance, and data-protection laws in every relevant jurisdiction.
To support legitimate security and investigative work, the Service applies fewer content restrictions than a typical consumer AI assistant. This places a higher duty of care on you. You must independently verify all findings (including cited sources), and you must not use the Service to facilitate unlawful access, harassment, stalking, doxxing of private individuals without lawful basis, fraud, or any other illegal activity. Outputs are investigative aids, not determinations of fact or law.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk to the Service or others.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose; (b) attempt to disrupt or circumvent Service security, rate limits, or billing; (c) resell or sublicense the Service without authorization; (d) upload content you have no right to process; or (e) use the Service to target individuals without a lawful basis.
Paid plans include a token allotment; usage beyond it is metered and billed. Activity that consumes model or tool resources is recorded for billing and audit. Pricing shown in marketing materials may be illustrative and is subject to change. You are responsible for charges incurred under your account, including any per-request spend you authorize.
You retain all rights to the case data, files, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service. We do not train models on Your Content. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
The Service routes model and tool calls through third-party providers (such as model gateways and voice providers). Their processing is subject to their own terms. We abstract providers behind the Service and do not expose provider credentials to your browser, but we are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or admissible as evidence. Tamper-evident hashing and audit logging are integrity aids, not legal guarantees of admissibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geogentia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You will indemnify and hold Geogentia harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
